Fun Music for Lever Harp with Jill & Rhondda

Fun music for lever harp

with Jill Atkinson

& Rhondda Howland

We invite you to a morning of new music, inspiration and lively discussions. Jill will be bringing a suitcase full of mostly Australian compositions, including jazz styles, atmospheric creations for beginners and more advanced pieces to aspire to. You are encouraged to bring your curiosity and a note pad.

Recently retired from the QSO, Jill has more time for research and adventure and is excited to bring you her recent discoveries of new harp music. She continues to mentor players from beginner to diploma level, bringing a well balanced knowledge of music genres.

Jill was a driving force behind the massive changes to the AMEB harp syllabus and will explore the fun techniques in many of the newly included pieces.

Friend and composer Rhondda Howland will be playing through some original compositions and will be available for Q&A around her creative process.

Walk out the door with an “I’m going to play that” attitude!
