Tea and Jam in Wondecla

On a lovely spring morning in October this year, we gathered for a Tea ‘n Jam session.  Sangit kindly hosted eight of us in her beautiful home in Wondecla near Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands.

It was wonderful to have such a good turnout. We had a shared lunch (and afternoon tea) and spent the afternoon sharing our achievements and challenges as harpists. It was a very safe and supportive environment in which to both jam together in a group and individually share our journey as harpists-in-the-making through playing for a small audience.

It is worth noting that this is the third Tea ‘n Jam we have held in a regional area of FNQ this year. Many thanks and appreciation go to those members who hosted these sessions - to Loni (Mossman in June) , Liza ( Kuranda in August) and Sangit ( Wondecla). Your time and effort in organising and hosting these events is greatly appreciated.

A final Tea and Jam is being planned for the end of the year in Cairns so keep a look out on our website for more details.
